This pattern is made-to-measure, this means you will adapt the dress according to your measurements. It's so easy to adapt to any size though. It's composed of 8 different rows which will be repeated all time until you reach your hip (where we will start doing increases).
This pattern is the continuation of the Life is a Carnival top. Basically, with this pattern you will turn the life is a carnival top into a dress. (Leave it as a top, or make the dress. You have both options!) The base of both patterns are the same, but I wrote the pattern for the dress in more detail and including the 'increase' section.

Skill: Intermediate. However, the pattern includes A LOT of how-to photos so that you can easy follow the instructions. And also video tutorials for those stitches that may be trickier. So if you are a confident beginner, I am sure you will be able to follow this pattern.
Materials:
Crochet hook: 4.5 mm
Scissors
Yarn needle
Yarn: Since the pattern is made to measure, you can use any yarn of any weight. I used cotton. Weight: Medium #4 (Worsted, Aran).
This project is SO fun to make and the result is amazing: A dress you can use on any occasion (casual or formal) depending on the yarn/color you use.
